Acting Workshop

A brand new training from Lotus van de Media and Freedom Combination Academy!

Following the success of previous scenario-based programs, a new journey now begins for those who wish to step onto the stage: the Acting Workshop, led by director, actor, and instructor Sadettin Yalta, is launching soon.

In this comprehensive 4-month program led by Sadettin Yalta, founder of Kumpanya Performing Arts, participants will engage in a creative and intensive training process covering everything from basic acting techniques to improvisation, character analysis, and stage practice.

Throughout the training, participants will not only develop their stage skills but also build self-confidence, expressive ability, and experience in collective creation. Learning will be supported by weekly small assignments, and regular attendance will be expected and taken seriously.

The workshop will take place in Utrecht every Saturday, starting on September 1, 2025, and ending on December 29, 2025.

Before the program begins, an introductory session will be held on August 23, 2025. Those who wish to attend this session must register in advance. After the session, one-on-one interviews will be held with those who want to continue in the program, and final participants will be selected based on these interviews.

At the end of the training, a final performance project will be staged. Additionally, successful participants will have the opportunity to take part in short films, sketches, and theatre projects organized by Lotus van de Media throughout the year.
